01
Background
Midnite is a new product scheduled to launch next quarter in 2024. In preparation, I designed its official website and brand design system aligned with the company's identity and marketing strategy. The product aims to become a leading office administrative solution in Southeast Asia.
After discussions with management, we established the brand identity pillars as 'high-tech,' 'trending,' and 'simplicity.' Since the product is still in development with limited available materials, the website design focuses on existing content while maintaining consistency with the established brand identity.
02
Typography
In crafting the product and marketing assets, I employed the Poppins font, maintaining a consistent typographic theme without introducing other fonts. Following the font size guide provided, I chose a line height set at 135% of the font size. To enhance visual appeal, I opted for the brand colour instead of pure black for font usage. Additionally, I developed a website template, laying the groundwork for future content development.
03
The brand colour for Midnite plays a crucial role in solidifying the visual identity across all products within the company. Rooted in the essence of the trendy and high-tech nature of the product, the entire brand colour palette was crafted to align with the core attributes of the Midnite brand.
The use of product’s initial (M) as a brand mark draws attention back to Midnite itself, while the colour palette references the classic tech style in black, white and blue.
04
Iconography
In the early phase of product launch, since our icon needs were minimal, I created a small library of commonly used icons for initial implementation.
